Common questions

How do I export my data?

Settings, then Data, then Export to PDF. The PDF contains your full subscription history, including past reviews and price changes.

How do I change my review cadence?

Settings, then Ritual, then Review cadence. You can pick monthly, quarterly, or twice a year. Quarterly is the default, because it is the cadence Winnowed is designed around.

Does Winnowed cancel subscriptions for me?

No. Winnowed helps you decide what to cut. The actual cancellation happens in each service's own settings. Winnowed will open the cancellation page for you when it has one on file.

What can I ask Siri?

Try "get subscription spend in Winnowed" for your annual total, or ask what a single subscription costs you. You can also add a subscription or mark one reviewed without opening the app. Every action is available in Shortcuts, and your subscriptions turn up in Spotlight search. You will need at least one subscription added first, since the questions are answered from your own data.

What is Forward Receipts?

A one-time purchase that lets you add a subscription without typing it. Select the text of a receipt in Mail, Safari, or Notes, tap Share, and choose Winnowed. The same on-device parser that reads camera scans reads the text, and a confirmation sheet appears so you can check the details before adding. Nothing is sent to a server. One purchase covers your Apple Family. You will find it under Settings, then Forward Receipts.

Why can't I update to the latest version?

Winnowed 2.0 requires iOS 27. If your iPhone is on iOS 26, the App Store will keep you on version 1.1, which continues to work. Updating your device will bring the new version with it.

Will Winnowed come to other platforms?

iPhone first. iPad support and watchOS are on the roadmap. No plans for Android or Web, because keeping the app small and on-device is part of the design.
